Willem Lange is a long-time resident of New England, and an experienced
outdoorsman and teacher. The College of Wooster (OH) graduate has been
an Outward Bound instructor and director of the Dartmouth College program.
He is the founder of the Geriatric Adventure Society, a group of outdoor
enthusiasts.
Lange writes a weekly column, "A Yankee Notebook," which appears in several New England newspapers. Since 1993 he has been a regular commentator on Vermont Public Radio, and received an Emmy nomination for one of his commentaries. He also has published several audiocassettes and four books.
Lange lives in Etna with his wife Ida, and works as a journalist and building
and remodeling contractor. They have three children and four grandchildren.

Lisa Densmore is an award-winning broadcast journalist specializing
in sports, adventure and outdoor programming. A national champion in
alpine skiing and an accomplished multi-sport athlete, she includes
fly-fishing, sporting clays and duck and upland bird hunting among her
many outdoor pursuits.
Over the last decade, Densmore has hosted numerous television series, including Ski New England and New England Outdoors. For the past three years, she has been the associate producer and on-camera field tester for Gear Guide on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN). She also covers sports events for networks such as CBS, TNT and A&E.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Densmore will be inducted into the school's
Sports Hall of Fame in May 2003. She lives in Hanover with her husband, Jason,
and their son.
